If I share a report with someone, does it mean that they can also access my family tree?

    No, sharing of reports is completely separate from sharing of family trees. If you share a report with someone, it will only give them permission to access your report. It will not give them permission to access your family tree. If you wish to also invite them to view your family tree, you must send the a separate invitation to share the family tree.

    To share your family tree with someone, follow these steps:

    1. Login to your account at FamilyVault.
    2. Click "Share Tree" button.
    3. Enter the email address of the person that you wish to share the tree with, then click "Sent Invites".

    An invitation will be sent to the recipient by email with a link to join your family tree.
